Perhaps your home is a couple of decades behind in meeting your needs. The space may not flow well or provide for how your family lives. How Much Will My Project Cost?

Altering the architecture of a home is a big investment in time and money. Often homeowners want to establish what their project will cost before they are certain of the changes they want for their homes. Stated desires like "replace my kitchen" or "update my bathroom" do not provide us enough information to determine an accurate remodeling budget. Additional square footage may or may not solve your design dilemma, and each home has its own structural and site challenges that need to be resolved during the planning and estimating stage.

Accuracy

Each designer/architect and general contractor is unique in their approach to remodeling. Even though the old approach suggested a homeowner solicit three bids from different contractors, each contractor approaches remodeling and the bidding process differently. Therefore the three bids you receive may be like comparing apples to oranges, depending on what each contractor chooses to include or exclude in his or her estimate. Our policy is to work with our clients in a negotiated bid process, insuring that every detail and finish is included in the final estimate.

The value of various aspects of the design has to be determined by the homeowner, the architect and C.N.I. -- your builder. Choosing from your wish list and working within your budget are often the most challenging parts of a remodeling project. We provide guidance and, if needed, we can assist you with modifying the project into various phases of remodeling, or reduce the scope of work to align your remodeling needs and desires with your budget.

At C.N.I., the project management and estimating personnel work closely with architects and our production crew on project after project, this ensures that there is mutual understanding and communication of your design ideas. You save time throughout the remodel, because you make just one phone call to one company to communicate any changes, updates or problems. You communicate your ideas to your project manager and they are shared with everyone who needs to know. This ensures that your project will be built as you envision.

Better Project Management

The key to every successful remodel project is management. Will you be able to get immediate attention from the right person? At C.N.I. General Contractors, your project manager has access to the architect, designer, production crew and estimator, so they are able to get clarification quickly.
